Sometimes you wish you could love a product, but sometimes it wasn’t meant to be.
This was one of those cases. I really wanted to love Amaranth Vibrant Shimmering CC Cream but alas it wasn’t meant to be.
I really enjoyed it’s hydrating cream which I reviewed last year, so I had hopes that this cc cream would fill the gap in my make up collection, cc creams. But it wasn’t meant to be.
First thing you’ll notice is in my first picture is the dirty box that I have pictured. Why is it dirty? Because the cc cream is the biggest pain in the butt, it literally smudges and dirties anything I touch after immediate usage of it. The cream that can’t stop and won’t stop. Really annoying.
The packaging is still consistent to it’s previous product that I reviewed. A nice pump that makes it easy to use. Like I said, I really wanted to love this, because the packaging is so awesome and easy to use.
But alas we come to the second big no-no that I can’t do; it’s too pale.
Have you ever wanted to be literally be as pale as a ghost? Now you can!
I never did though, especially with my summer tan still in progress, I looked ridiculous with it on. Now I know some ladies are naturally more paler than others, and I’m usually on the more paler side of the spectrum (in the winter) but as it is now I cannot wear it.
So all in all, it was too “I’LL GET ON EVERYTHING YOU LOVE AND OWN!” and wayyy too pale of a product for me to enjoy.
Sorry Amaranth, didn’t love this.
1/10 cause it was easy to rub myself pale. Maybe if I decide to be the Grudge this Halloween it’ll be a fantastic product.
This product was given to me to review as a BNTgirl but has a 100% my thoughts in it (◕w◕ア

This product just has too many negative reviews. I have given up with shade match on all Asian base makeup. They always manage to make me look sickly gray or ghostly pale. I must agree that the Hydrating Cream from Amaranth is a special product and even a Holy Grail for me.
Ah… those Korean CC creams… we can never find a shade that matches our skin, no matter how pale we are (like in France they always tell me I’m ivory but most Korean products are deep white next to my face…). 😦
Hahaha I feel your pain Nawael! I never know what shade to buy for Korean BB creams!
