BNTgirl x STYLENANDA 3CE Matte Lip Color #907 Old Dress

MLBB. You may have heard this term before from other bloggers, or instagrammers, it stands for My Lips But Better. I think I’ve found mine.

Lately, trending lip colors have been “brick” colors or MLBBs which enhance or look like natural lip colors. So today I’ll be reviewing what I think is my perfect MLBB.

It works both in day and night situations, and just perfectly flatters my lip color.

I’ll be reviewing STYLENANDA 3CE Matte Lip Color (Shade: #907 Old Dress).

When I put it on for the first time, I noticed how strikingly similar it was to my actual lip color, but slight darker and it was love at first sight. It was my lips but darker, and matte. It was love.

So first I’ll showcase my natural lips (sorry the photo is a bit blurred).

And after:

ENHANCE LIPS ENHANCE!

It a nice mauve color, like a brick, and it creates a nice matte finish that lasts all day.

The color worked well when I had heavy night make up in Las Vegas and lighter day make up when I went to a Vineyard in Temacula. It made the perfect transition day to night lip color, make it my favorite lipstick to grab  for in my bag. I knew it always worked well.

It’s seriously has been my favorite lippie to just wear any time of the day and everyday. It has been my staple and livelihood.

Like the other 3CE lipstick I reviewed I of course like this one just as much if not more!

[3CE] 3 Concept Eyes WATER WRAPPING FACIAL MASK

Phew, long time no see guys.

Sorry, I’ve been traveling a bit, and for this post I want to feature the face mask that made my 3 day journey to Europe MUCH better!

Prepare for a face mask worth the hassle of bringing onto your carry on luggage.

Traveling is almost never a delight unless you have the money to fly First/Business Class. But you know we make do with what we have.

Who else hates long airplanes rides, and cannot sleep on planes? Me.

I had a two flights to get to Poland, the first flight was from JFK (New York) -> SVO (Moscow, Russia) which was 9 hours long.

Plane rides are infamous for their stale, drying air and that can wreck  havoc on your face up before a vacation. So I was prepared. I brought 6 different face masks to use on the planes.

It was devastatingly long, especially since I didn’t sleep much the night before (3 hours) and I couldn’t sleep at all on the plane. Damn you internal clock telling me it’s daylight.

But the mask was God sent.

Prepare for shameless mask wearing on planes.

I put the mask on and it was like bringing the Alps to my face. My skin tingled with a cooling sensation and felt like it was finally breathing for the first time in 6 hours.

I wish I was joking, it was amazing. It was as if clean, fresh mountain air was bought to me 9000FT in the air.

I’ve never experienced anything like it before, but maybe I haven’t tried enough face masks on airplanes, but I know for sure if you have a flight in the future, you should buy this mask. Right now. It was amazing.

But wait there’s more! The mask not only made my face feel extremely refreshed, it knocked me out cold.

The combination the feeling of my skin being able to breathe and the nice cool tingling sensation was just what I needed to rock me into slumber. One moment I was watching Agent Carter and the next I was out like a light.

I was out cold for 30 minutes. The nap re-energized, and I emerged from my slumber a changed woman, I was Snow White. I felt pretty, rejuvenated and just overall wonderful.

Of course it also rehydrated my face better than a splash of water. It was a snow melting into my face.

I know I know, sometimes people write things that may sound too good to be true. But I sincerely promise you won’t regret this if you try this.

Bring the refreshing mountain air with you 9,000ft in the air.

First class is a state of mind anyways.

I’m giving this a 11/10. The perfect product to me honestly, I’m about to buy a tonne (a literal tonne) and hoard them forever and ever.

BNTgirl x Stylenanda 3 Concept Eyes DANGEROUS MATTE LIP COLOR (#807)

Buongiorno Bella, as you may know I went to Italia!

Today I’ll be reviewing a lipstick from one of the trendiest brands in Korea, Stylenada 3CE’s Dangerous Matte Lip Color in 807.

Milano (Milan, Italy) is one of the fashion capitals of the world, home to Versace, and many other high end brands. And I didn’t want to be less than trendy when I was there, so I used my most winter-spring transition color I had in my travel make up bag – Stylenada 3CE’s Dangerous Matte Lip Color in 807.

I loved it so much in Milan, I even used it in the day in Venezia (Venice, Italy).

Statement lips are always in, and currently a light pop of color on your lips is the poison of choice.  Sometimes it may seem that a lip color is too bold for the day and to be only kept for the night, but I found #807 a middle dark raspberry to be perfect as a Day-Night lip color. It was vibrant enough to wear in the day to not stand out too much but have the focus on, and it was a nice night lip look.

So it’s not only creates a modern trendy look it comes in a angular, square modern casing. I love the case, it feels matte and modern. IT FEELS MATTE!

Bonus- it’s dangerously matte. If it were too glossy it would’ve been too much for a night look and maybe too much for even a day look, but as a matte color it kept the color much more vibrant and subdued (no blinding lights from your lips here).

I literally used it almost exclusively in Italy, it was great and photographed well. The only bummer was that it would last all day if I didn’t eat, but I ate, a lot. But application is easy, one layer and done!

I’d rate this as a 10/10 as a beauty product (viva la matte), I’ll definitely be looking to buy more shades.

Review: 3 Concept Eyes – I’m good mascara

Hello Lovelies, makeuplol So as promised here is my review for the 3CE I’m good mascara. Prepare yourselves for gifs, much gifs. I had so much fun editing the video that I took some highlighted parts and made gifs, so prepare yourselves for the future.     My overall impressions of the mascara itself is LOVE LOVE LOVE. It doesn’t have a weird perfumed scent (yay!) and it does what it’s advertised to do-kind of. It’s suppose to be a “doll” like mascara but I don’t find myself looking extra dolly-ish after it. HOWEVER I do find I love it’s non smudgy-ness, oil control and waterproof-ness. It’s absolutely wonderful, I’m a pretty active girl because I’ve been trying to lose weight or I’m constantly on the go and I don’t like worrying about my mascara smudging onto the bottom of my eyes making me a panda (like my favorite Benefit I’m real! mascara). I’ve tested it out on various occasions. So here we go let’s start out with my after a 10 mile bike ride: photo (3) No smudging at all even after a light workout! That’s impressive, I usually avoid make up when I’m doing any exercise because I hate it when my eyeliner or mascara would smudge, but with this mascara I don’t even have to worry about it and continue on with my day. Even more impressive is the next photo where I went to LA Fitness and basically went in the hot tub AND sauna for 30 minutes. photo (2) No smudging. At. All. So basically if you’re a active girl or a girl on the go I would definitely recommend this to you. Sorry about my stray eyebrow hairs, trying to grow out my eye brows to reshape them. :> But yea these next photos are basically just a whole day (13 hours) progression of my lashes and how the mascara kept them curled all day long. Sequence 01.Still003 Sequence 01.Still004   So to break it down. Pros:

  • lasts a long time (forever)
  • can exercise with it
  • can withstand water
  • basically a magic mascara for the summer
  • doesn’t smell weird

Cons:

  • doesn’t really volumize my lashes
  • doesn’t make them dolly?
