BNTgirl x Coreana RODIN SHO 3-Step Nose Pack

First off I’d like to say whaaaaaa.

I’m used to the conventional nose strips, which you just place on a wet nose for 15 minutes then remove, but 3 steps that sounded crazy at first to me.

Today I’ll reviewing Coreana’s RODIN SHO 3-Step Nose Pack, it’s a 3 step nose strip pack!

First step; makes black heads to the surface (magic of horse oil), Second step: Actual removal of black heads, white heads and sebum, cleans pores with a peel-off sheet.And finally the 3rd step: Re-hydrating and making your nose happy via horse oil.

Horse Oil seems to be trendy, and it really seems to hydrate well so I was down to try this nose pack.

I always thought of myself to be a minimal pore type of person but this just goes to show what’s underneath all that skin can be realllllly hidden. I rarely do nose strips but this proved that my nose is gross, and bleh.

Beware: this will consume 45 minutes of your life, but you know you can relax and do other things while the nose strips do their thang.

The first strip is a paper like strip, which you apple on after cleaning your nose, and after 15 minutes clean away the excess with a Q-tip. I think this step really opens up the pores so it’s easier/less painful to do the second step.

The second step is the actual pore removing part so be sure to put a lot of water around the area of the nose to make sure it adheres onto it. After 15-20 minutes or when the strip dries, carefully, remove it and then look at it in mild horror and amusement.  I don’t know why, but after removing the nose strip you have to look at it, you look at it wondering, “how, how could so much sh*t be in my nose.” And think to yourself you gotta work on cleaning your pores more.

The last step is more a recovery mode nose strip, it’s a gel strip (so more like a nose mask) to help heal, minimize the pores, and hydrate the nose again.

All in all it seems like a good product, it removed a lot, and I mean a lot, of disgusting sebum from my nose. It was quite gross. I’m not going to put a picture up because I thought if I wouldn’t want to see it, neither would my readers.

I’d rate this as a 9/10. It’s a good nose strip! And I think much better than holika holika’s one.

BNTgirl x Coreana Rodin SHO Special Horse Oil cream

Horse oil, oh horse oil, where for art thou horse oil. Jeju Island apparently.

With long, dry winter months prolonging unattractive dry skin flakes on your face, extreme measures had to be taken. Exfoliation, intense scrubbing and finally Horse oil has been brought out. Extreme measures have been taken for extreme skin conditions. Bring the horses from Jeju Island (Almost paradiseee~).

Today I’ll be reviewing, from Jeju Island, Coreana Rodin SHO Special Horse Oil cream.

Like a lot of other people I have combination skin, which means I’m dry in the winter and oily in the summer. Therefore I have to switch my skincare routinely to make sure I don’t look too oily or too flaky during the different seasons.

What’s so special about Horse Oil? Natural Vitamin E, which helps with wrinkles and skin repairing (oh my dry dry skin). But it doesn’t only contain horse oil, it also features eight, yes EIGHT, other natural ingredients which help promote healthy skin and healing.

Horse oil has been wonderful for my skin, light, fast absorption and even faster moisturizing are the keys to its success. Though my face looks a bit oily/dewy immediately after application my face has been so, so, so hydrated and smooth. All my flaky, dry skin patches have healed within two weeks of usage. So much so, that I can actually use my luminous foundations which tend to cling and accentuate my dry spots.

Coreana Rodin SHO Special Horse Oil cream has been one of my favorites (skincare) for the past month, extreme hydration and moisture retention and has been wonderful. I don’t have to worry about those gross dry flakes anymore, and my face now looks luminous even in the dry winter months.

You may have noticed that I previously tried the Guerisson 9-Complex cream which is only other horse cream I’ve tried, and I can say confidently say I love this one much more. It feels lighter, and absorbs much better into the skin. Not only that but it’s much cheaper than the Guerisson cream, $50 vs $30.

Flawless skin, for the brutal winter months.

Although I can’t wait for spring, I’ve decided to use this entire cream up even into the spring to keep up with my smooth skincare routine (why ruin something that’s going so well, amiright).

This cream is wonderful for any dry, flaky combination skinned person like me.

BNTgirl x iSOi Bulgarian Rose Blemish Serum Rehash

Good morning everyone.

Something strange, yet wonderful happened, I got to review the same item twice! Or really they sent me the same item I had gotten previously, and loved, and in a even bigger size!

I’d just like to link you my previous review here where you can read my in dept review of iSOi Bulgarian Rose Blemish Serum.

The fresh rose scent and rapid absorption were my favorite features previously.

I can’t tell you how excited I was to get it again, like, super duper. I really loved it the first time I got it in the 20ml size, so much so I emptied it! I don’t often empty products because I get so many to try out, but I kept using iSOi Bulgarian Rose Blemish Serum until it was gone, so I was sad when I used it all.

I didn’t feel like forking out around ~$50 for it, but now that I’ve gotten it again, I’m seriously considering stocking up on it and using them forever!

The container still maintains it’s luxurious glass bottle, and comes with a even nicer pump now, or what I think looks nicer. Overall I think they did well with the size upgrade (now 35ml) as you get more bang for your buck now.

The serum’s suppose to help with blemishes but I found that it mainly helped with my overall complexion. It helped with my uneven skin tone that I occasionally get, and with my minor acne I get from hormones.

BNTgirl x doctorcos Amino Acid Hybrid Sheet Free Mask Advanced

Gobble gobble, happy Thanksgiving everyone!

If you’re international, Thanksgiving is a holiday where most students have a week of break to go home and celebrated what we’re grateful for. And buy a lot of things we don’t need on Black Friday. Or this year to buy a lot of things at 6pm and eat dinner really early at 3pm.

I’m writing this while I have a break from cooking.

And I’m sad to say this is my final BNTgirl review, maybe ever.

I’m reviewing my favorite from the box, saving the best for last (amiright), Doctorcos Amino Acid Hybrid Sheet Free Mask.

Highly sought after and raved about, in Asia and beyond, I was nothing but excited when I got this to try.

So you’re probably thinking the same thing I was thinking when I read the title of my post, “what the heck is a sheet free mask?” What does that imply anyways, don’t all masks have disposable one time use face masks you put on you face for 30 minutes???

Like seriously, what the heck. Haha. Little did I know I would soon come to the same conclusion every other bblogger had before me. Sheet free masks, this is the future. This is awesome.

By having no one time use only disposable masks, we reduce waste, energy and effort of putting on a face mask. 100% lazy girl in me is screaming inside, “Yes! Yes….YASSSSS!!!”

I used to set aside 30 minutes a week just so I could make sure my face mask would stay in place, I used it as sort of a “me” time. But now I don’t have to set aside 30 minutes of my life, put on a mask and take it off. I can just put it on at night and ta da. Skin is happy, face feels fresh, hydrated, and even rejuvenated.

Okay now here are some the of the facts of the mask, now that you know I absolutely adore it, you may also want to know what it does for your face. On a deeper level, if you know what I mean.

It’s suppose to help; whiten, moisturize, pore refiner, tighten, wrinkles, nourish and overall skin health.

You can use it as a overnight mask (1mm-3mm thick layer), regular face mask (<1mm), or even as a base (light later) for your make up.

Now you may think, “1-3mm thick for a overnight mask? How can you even do that.” Simple, you tap it onto your face lightly.

Second thoughts afterwards may be, what on earth does amino acid hybrid mean???

Well I had no idea, so I decided to look it up for you guys. Apparently the amino acids help by instantly moisturizing your face, and help promote skin turn over rate. Cool.

Third thoughts could be, what does it smell like then, it smells like a luxurious face mask akin to Leader’s face masks which have those nice gel masks. But the scent is lighter and softer on your nose. It’s great. No true floral scent, no irritating overwhelming scents either, it’s truly fantastic.

Anyways, now that you get the gist of what this amazing product is and how it works, it’s your turn to give it a try. Maybe tomorrow, maybe sooner, MAYBE TONIGHT! I highly recommend it.

Goodbye regular sheet masks, I won’t miss you.

BNTgirl x Guerisson 9-Complex

Orange you happy I didn’t start this off with a terrible joke?

I’m excited to say I’ll be reviewing Guerisson 9-Complex cream, which is packaged so cutely in a orange case, luxury at its finest, and has a citrus based scent. I love it all, first impressions are lasting impression, and the 9-complex cream won my heart visually and with it’s smell.

Can you feel my heart skip a beat? I’m always excited to try a good cream.

Inside the awesome case had the cream itself and a spatula for sanitary usage of the cream. This is especially helpful when you read online about how using your hands directly transfers bacteria and germs into your creams. So we already know it’s luxurious when they provide a super cute spatula.

guerisson.Still002Like the other face cream I recently reviewed, it’s a oil based cream, so those with normal/combo/dry skintones can use this without worry, oily skinned people beware. But with it’s horse oil, it means uber hydration and a happy hydrated face.

The cream, is advertised to help with, wrinkles, whitening, moisture/hydration and the elasticity of the skin. Meaning it’s a versatile skin care product, for wrinkles at least prevention is better than trying to reverse aging.

By moisturizing your face and keeping it hydrated your face is basically wrinkle-proofed as a huge cause of wrinkles is because of lack of face hydration. But wait, there’s more, the cream is suppose to last 72 hours (3 whole days!) so you can apply twice a week and you should be solid.

Like the other cream before it, I’d suggest only using a dabble of the cream, as a small amount goes a long way. Very long way, all over your face, with no problem.

I think this cream is the perfect day or night face cream, as it’s not too oily so you’ll be able to put your make up over it.

It’s the perfect cream to try out if you looking for a mid-ranged cream.

I’m giving this a 7/10, only because I find this to be a bit expensive MSRP is around $50USD

but it’s current on sale on amazon for $20 USD here.
