BNTgirl x CATALINA Geo’s Color Capsule Make Up Base

Green concealerrrrrr you were my dream…!

My dream come true, I got it as a sponsored item and it comes as a base. Wooo.

Today I’ll be reviewing Catalina Geo’s Color Capsule make up base.

Now you may notice it looks a bit different, they apparently changed its packaging and its name a bit and now it’s called i-MIIX Magic capsule base.

It’s a cute container and when it’s pumped out it looks a little bit like this:

It comes out as a creamy avocado green cream and once you rub it all over your face, you become white.

With a green base I’d imagine is that the green would neutralize all my redness with the green color but instead it’s just a strong cream like bb cream.

Yeah it probably concealed all my redness on my face by turning me white.

It was more like a light bb cream to me rather than a base, a bb cream that was suppose to only be a base.

So as a base, I wouldn’t say it was super effective but it’s a pretty decent bb cream.

So I’d say a 6/10.

BNTgirl x Pure Heals Ginseng Berry Eye Lift Patch

Oh god I needed these.

Midterms just ended for me and I’m a serious victim of eye bags, not the cute aegyo eye bags, the omg what happened to sleep ones. Also, not to be confused with designer eyebags you obtain from jetsetting to foreign countries for brief amounts of time.

Today I’ll be reviewing Pure Heals Ginseng Berry Eye Lift Patch!


Eye patches are a great mini mask for the eye bags specifically because they still allow you to continue with whatever you’re doing ( in my case, studying like a mad man). So I really appreciate them because they just feel nice in general.

What’s specifically excellent about the Pure Heals one is that not only is it cooling during initial contact but for the entire extended wear of the eye patch entirely. Plus I like the fact is a clear gel, it looks a little bit more normal.


Even better bonus about the eye patches is that they work( at least for me)! I just put them on for 20-30 minutes and continuing the ritualistic studying that is engineering.

The skin around my eyes definitely plumped back up and looked much healthier.

Does what it’s advertised to do, so that’s super cool.

Only bummer is that the MSRP is 53,000 Korean Won or around $53USD, so it’s quite a baller amount. But if price isn’t a issue or you need some major help ASAP, give it a try.

Still a solid though, so I’d give this a 8.5/10, minus 1.5 for the price. I’m a student, broke life.

BNTgirl x DAENG GI MEORI LOOK AT HAIR LOSS True Shampoo

Honestly, I was really excited about to review this shampoo because the last shampoo that BNTnews sent me was a-maz-ing.

So without further ado here’s my review of DAENG GI MEORI LOOK AT HAIR LOSS True Shampoo!

Now this one was almost a complete opposite of the other one that they had sent. DAENG GI MEORI’s packaging is definitely targeted to young women, like myself. The pretty matte blue and the sleek packaging make it definitely eye catching.

I’m a model! Jk, but not jk this is just to show off my nice long hair that I’ve been growing since forever, and I just wanted to show how my hair looked after almost a month only using it.

The shampoo kept my hair as healthy as it could be (badly damaged by the dry summer and the dyeing of my hair often). It made sure my hair didn’t further kill itself on the daily. As for the hair loss part, I’m not so sure since I generally lose a lot of hair everyday, constantly shedding my former body and morphing into super Doris or so to say. So yeah, I can’t really tell if it has helped with my hair loss in general. Maybe? Maybe not, it’s hard to say since I have such thin hair to begin with.

Now the important part, does-it-lather? YES. WHY YES IT DOES! Honestly, I really really really hate shampoo that doesn’t lather. This one does, so it’s okay in my books.

Unfortunately it didn’t smell as nice as the one sent before, but it didn’t smell bad either. It just smelled slightly scented. But it’s a clear shampoo, ohh ahh, very clear wow ahh, much clean feelings wow.

It’s decent. So I’ll rate it fairly as a 6.5/10. It has cute packaging and it lathers.

Coreana RODIN SHO’s EGFactor Timeless Program Part 2

Bonjour mon amis!

Today I’m back with part 2 of the Coreana RODIN SHO’s EGFactor Timeless Program!

I’ll give you my updated review of it here and my full usage of the entire box.

But unfortunately for now there will be no pictures on this review because my iPhone was stolen in Nice, France while I was on my way to Monaco. 😦 

Don’t worry I have travel insurance, so hopefully that will cover everything.

Continuing, I basically got two boxes of the program for my face and in total I used it for one month.

I quite liked to use it at night because during the day it would make my face seem a bit more oily.

Overall I didn’t see too much of improvement in my fine lines or wrinkles since I don’t have too many of those. But I did find it would moisturize my face quite well at night.

And most importantly, when you did take it out of the box to travel with it was easy to use to travel with. But the caps of the serums were quite hard to open, but maybe it’ll increase my forearm strength. But who knows.

But still for the price per product it’s quite pricy, and unfortunately I don’t think it would be worth it for girls my age (females in their 20s) since we don’t have wrinkles YET.

But I’ve also read the best defense against aging skin is premature anti wrinkle skin care.

BNTgirls Review: TOOCOOLFORSCHOOL Skinny Body Soda

Now that I’m on the Côte d’azure, in southern France (Nice, to be exact), I’ve never been more body conscious.

Looking at my perhaps not so perfect body I decided to try this spray which supposedly helps reduce cellulite and body fat. How that’s suppose to work, I don’t really know, but it says on the packaging they use a special formula!

The packing is like always, very cute. Too cool for school does it like no one else, with innovative and cute designs and ideas. Cellulite spray remover, that sounds original for sure!

It’s sprays on nice and cool, a bit too cool, but very refreshingly cool, and it becomes a foamy substance. I then just spread it around my problem areas.

I did this for about a week, and unfortunately did not see too much of a difference besides my skin getting a cool rub down everyday.

Maybe it doesn’t work because I don’t have too much cellulite? I wouldn’t know, but I do know that cooling sprays are very haute right now in Korea, the type of spray foundations that is. Perhaps this product is a byproduct of such a popular product.

So unfortunately I’m going to be giving this a 3/10, the effectiveness wasn’t much, but the spray had a nice cooling effect which is nice!

BNTgirls Review: DAENG GI MEO RI Oriental Special Shampoo

Mmm floral scents, I love them, and I especially love it when my hair smells like flowers. I especially love the scents of shampoos I seem to find in Asia.

Unfortunately the scents I seem to have found in Asia usually don’t work too well with my hair, but not this shampoo!

It makes my hair shine, smell fantastic and radiant. Plus it lathers well.

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been disappointed by a higher end shampoo because of the lack of lather (hint it’s a lot). And for this to lather well, well it’s basically made for me. It smells nice AND it lathers nicely.

I usually wash my hair every other day and with this shampoo I don’t seem to get too head oily or dull hair. Which is frankly amazing since my travels mean different water (mineral content, and beaches) content, which means unhappy hair. But so far my hair looks like just as its suppose to be, shiny and long and full!

I brought along the travel size of the shampoo to take around with me in Europe and it’s the perfect size to carry around in my check in luggage! A super plus is that even the mini travel size has a structured bottle which makes sure it won’t explode in my luggage like other containers have in the past.

The shampoo has been a travel essential, and my friends seem to enjoy the scent as well.

So if you’re looking for a good Asian shampoo that smells of flowers and lathers well, this may be for you! I honestly will continually use this until I run out and then I’ll fly to Asia( or just South Korea) to get some more!

Shiny long hair, don’t care. Hair on fleet?

I’m giving this a solid 9/10 it washes my hair, keeps it fresh, clean and smelling like a bouquet of fresh flowers. PLUS it lathers like a real shampoo! What more can you ask for?

If you want to try a new Asian shampoo, I’d definitely recommend this to you.

BNTgirls Review:FORENCOS’ GREEK Mythology MASK SERIES (part 2)

Bonjour, today I’ll be telling you which are my two favorites from the 7 different masks featured in the forencos Face Mask.

And they are….dun dun dun! The caviar and the tea tree one!

Out the two the tea tree one is hands down my favorite, so much so I may just go ahead and buy some more for myself.

During my travels, my friends and I chose planes over trains, and unfortunately chose a lot of early morning flights. But never fear, face masks appear.

So here I am on these European flights to huge cities at 7am with a face mask on, and I will never do anything less. Yes some people stare and yes, of course, my friends judge me.

But who cares, I come off the plane refreshed, face NOT drier than the Sahara desert and I feel great. Plus, I still feel like the masks, even thought they envelop your face completely, makes the air cooler and more breathable to the face.

I like the Tea Tree one because I found that it helps with the overall condition of my face the most.

Likewise I chose the caviar one as a second place because the thirst on my face feels like it’s been quenched after I wear it!

Like the Tea Tree one, the caviar one is perfect for travels. But in a slightly different way, for the caviar one, I used it after a long hot day in Brussels and it completely rehydrated my face in 30 minutes!

It’s perfect for those hot, dry summers which seem like they just suck the moisture from my face. It just a nice evening piece, perfect for relaxation.

FORENCOS’ GREEK Mythology MASK SERIES Part 1

For anyone wondering I’m currently in Poland, more specifically Sopot.

It’s part of a tri-city network of 3 close cities together. It’s near the beach, there’s water on the beach, bugs love water…and my face.

Although I did my best to prevent skincare sadness from the plane, there was really nothing I could do to prevent bugs (mostly stupid mosquitoes) from attacking my face. Blegh.

So basically I was in (and still am a little bit) skin care hell. There’s really nothing I could do than rub on some ointment to help stop the itchyness. But the redness seemed to be a constant.

Till I tried these masks!

Today I’ll be reviewing 2 of the 7 masks in the FORENCOS GREEK Mythology MASK SERIES, and I’ll be writing a more further in dept review of my favorites shortly.

Okay real talk, there are basically 7 different masks one for each day of the week.

For the first mask I decided to use the tea tree oil one, because my face was dying and I needed a miracle.

Tea tree oil is suppose to help with acne and I suppose redness all together. So I figured this one would be best for my ailment.

Thursday: relax with Dryas (Tea tree oil mask)

Anyways, so I figured why not try it.

It fit like a glove. TO MY FACE. The mask itself was one of the nicer paper silk material used and it had a pattern that made it seem more breathable.

I put it on for a hour, but you may ask, oh what about the ampoule sachet on the side there? I, uh, didn’t want to use it this time because I was lazy.

But moving along, after an hour…I emerged.

The redness was slapped down by the mask!

The mask was super effective, red bumps took a critical hit!

Yeah basically it’s amazing. Don’t need to read any further really. Or you can, to read on about the volcanic ash mask.

Tuesday: detox with Hephaestus (Volcanic Ash Mask)

As you can see in the photo the redness is still there, but not as crazy as the day before.

So I decided since the Tea tree oil one was so effective the day before, I’d try another mask from the series to help continue the prevention.

But this time I did use the amouple, it as a mask base so I put it on before the mask itself. It’s really gooey, super gooey, much like a syrup. But it goes onto your face.

But the mask itself was, uh, shocking.

I’ve never experienced a brown mask, but I guess that was expected for a “ash” mask.

The mask didn’t fit on my face as well after using the ampoule, so maybe you were suppose to wash it off before putting on the mask, I’ll try again soon.

After a hour, I removed the mask, and had to wash my face because the ampoule had dried up quite a bit. So, yeah I believe you should wash off the ampoule before the mask. #sherlock

The swelling and the redness went down again! But it doesn’t seem to be as effective as the tea tree oil so far.

Coreana RODIN SHO’s EGFactor Timeless Program Part 1

Brief review time.

For this review, it’ll be a bit shorter than my usual reviews. Only because I’ll have a update later (in a month.)

Today I’ll be partially reviewing Coreana’s RODIN SHO’s EGFactor Timeless Program.

I’ll be writing about the 28 day program, there’s another shorter one, I believe for 7 days, if you want to try it.

It comes as a anti wrinkle program, for the eyes and face overall.

First off let’s talk, real talk, you can already see it’s luxurious. BAM syringes, and capsules.

It’s like playing science, but with your face.

The syringes are actually eye creams for the under eye bags, the most sensitive part of your face, SENSITIVE TO TIME!

As a anti wrinkle product, it’s in one of the most sanitary containers I’ve seen so far.

As a syringe it makes sure you put on not too much product onto your face and it distributes the same amount every time.

The syringe is plastic, it feels nice against the hand though, and looks nice.

The ampoules are for the face.

They sort of finish up the treatment, by giving your face a overall hydrated feeling all day long, 24 hours.

The texture is nice and light so far and it feels almost like argan oil onto your face.

More thoughts about this product later.

GEO Bella Brown Circle Lens

Woo today I’ll be reviewing my first pair of circle lenses which is one of the more popular circle lenses available.

I purchased mine from LoveShoppingHolics.com. From the recommendation of fellow BBlogger and BNTgirl Kim (you can read more of her on her own blog here).

Though I’ve really enjoyed the circle lenses themselves I think the best part of the lenses were the freebies I got!

As the title reads I got the GEO Bella Brown circle lenses which have;

  • 14mm diameter
  • 38% water content
  • 8.6 base curve
  • 1 year life span

I’ve had them for about a year now, and I’ve worn them out quite a bit (clubbing, dinner etc) and I always get compliments on them.

I feel like I may have gotten bit too wide lenses, but they also enhance the doe-eyed look effect. So it’s not too terribly bad, but still look cute/alien like.

They feel really comfortable on too, I think the longest I’ve worn them was for about 8 hours straight and they didn’t dry out my eyes! So 10/10 for comfort.

The color matched my iris as well as I have light brown eyes so people didn’t notice too much of a difference and that’s what matters the most, just cuter eyes. 10/10 color.

Overall I think if you’re looking for a cute/aegyo eye look I’d definitely recommend them. I can’t wait to try more circle lenses! I’d rate these a 10/10. They did what I wanted to do and more, I’ve really enjoyed having these for a year!
