BNTgirl x LEADERS MEDIU Moisture Therapy Body Oil Cream

Head, shoulder, knees and toes. All these place have to be moisturized too!

I bet some of you forgot not just the skin on your face eventually ages as well. So keeping your entire body moisturized is just as important as your face!

Today I’ll be reviewing Leaders MEDIU Moisture Therapy Body Oil Cream, to help you with that.

Body + oil + cream = happy body. The perfect recipe for a healthy body.

Now some of you may wonder what I wondered at first, why a body oil vs a body cream. What really is the difference?

Two words, absorption rate. I found that I actually preferred the body oil, from Leaders, rather than my shea butter body cream from BBW because it absorbed into my body so much better. I rubbed it into my body, and then poof, the oil was into my body. No residue, no unpleasant feelings afterwards just clean absorption.

The oil was very much like a gel, and liquidized quickly as I rubbed into my body. The gel itself contains amino acid complex, herb complex and tiny tiny vitamin capsules which are cute mini gold spheres. The spheres just sort of pop as you rub the oil into your skin and combine with the gel/oil itself.

As you can see as soon as it absorbs into my dry spot (my elbow specifically) you can’t even see a glimpse that oil was rubbed on, the spot just looks magically healthier/moisturized. Poof. Skin hydrated.

Better yet, it smells like a clean citrus scent, not like lysol (home cleaner), but more like lemon zest on a lemon meringue.

Really the body oil is the perfect thing to apply after a shower and right before you put on clothes, or even with clothes on, because the oil absorbs into your skin immediately. You won’t have to worry about stains or smudges onto your clothing while applying it.

It’s a great product to have, especially in the dry winter where it seems like every single part of my body is dry. After using it for two weeks I feel like my body is healthier, and I think I’m even slightly in love with the body oil.

Really a perfect all round product for the body during any season, wearing any type of clothes. Hassle free, smells great, and is in a easy to use container.

What else could a girl like me really ask for.

I’m giving this a 9.8/10. Almost perfect, it’d be even more perfect if I could find a retailer online that sells it. If anyone knows how I can get this in the USA I’d be much obliged.

BNTgirl x Guerisson 9-Complex

Orange you happy I didn’t start this off with a terrible joke?

Zing- zesty citrus scents.

I’m excited to say I’ll be reviewing Guerisson 9-Complex cream, which is packaged so cutely in a orange case, luxury at its finest, and has a citrus based scent. I love it all, first impressions are lasting impression, and the 9-complex cream won my heart visually and with it’s smell.

Can you feel my heart skip a beat? I’m always excited to try a good cream.

Inside the awesome case had the cream itself and a spatula for sanitary usage of the cream. This is especially helpful when you read online about how using your hands directly transfers bacteria and germs into your creams. So we already know it’s luxurious when they provide a super cute spatula.

Like the other face cream I recently reviewed, it’s a oil based cream, so those with normal/combo/dry skintones can use this without worry, oily skinned people beware. But with it’s horse oil, it means uber hydration and a happy hydrated face.

The cream, is advertised to help with, wrinkles, whitening, moisture/hydration and the elasticity of the skin. Meaning it’s a versatile skin care product, for wrinkles at least prevention is better than trying to reverse aging.

By moisturizing your face and keeping it hydrated your face is basically wrinkle-proofed as a huge cause of wrinkles is because of lack of face hydration. But wait, there’s more, the cream is suppose to last 72 hours (3 whole days!) so you can apply twice a week and you should be solid.

Like the other cream before it, I’d suggest only using a dabble of the cream, as a small amount goes a long way. Very long way, all over your face, with no problem.

I think this cream is the perfect day or night face cream, as it’s not too oily so you’ll be able to put your make up over it.

It’s the perfect cream to try out if you looking for a mid-ranged cream.

I’m giving this a 7/10, only because I find this to be a bit expensive MSRP is around $50USD

BNTgirl x iSOi Bulgarian Rose Intensive Energizing Cream

Word to the oil based creams.

Ce soir (tonight) I’ll be reviewing iSOi’s Bulgarian Rose Intensive Energizing Cream. Previously, on last night’s episode of doirs….I reviewed from the same brand and loved it’s serum and toner. (☞ﾟヮﾟ)☞

On the packaging it states that’s a day and night cream, however since it’s a oil based cream I think it’ll be more preferred at night. (We don’t need anyone’s foundation/face to melt off in the middle of the day, haha, wicked witch of the west!).

Now, I’ve used the phrase “oil-based” twice already, but what does that really mean anyways? It means that the cream is meant for dry to combination/normal skin types. So if you’re already oily I’d suggest you stay aware from this cream.

Everyone else listen up! Perk up your ears, I’m about to whisper some hydration secrets. Come closer, a bit closer…a little-woah, too close! ͡ಠ_ಠ

Everyone knows it’s now winter in most of the world (minus those happy Australians) and what makes us shiver even more than the brisk wind is the thought of chapped, broken skin which ails us all during the winter. May it be from the heater constantly running, or the blistering wind hitting our faces at 30mph, we all suffer from dry skin in the winter. However, having dry skin isn’t even the scariest part, what comes from dry skin is force much fearsome, wrinkles. Yes, dry skin is another cause of wrinkles (nononononono!). ⊙﹏⊙

So I’m glad to bring you back to your happy place and say all your worries about chapped skin and wrinkles can be helped with this one product before you sleep. Yay! ( °٢° )

So I applied it every night for about two weeks after toner/serums and I found that;

1. A little goes a long way (a really heavy heavy cream that spreads like no other).

2. Earthy fruity smell

3. It does not break me out! (I have combination skin, yay) (◕‿◕✿)

Now here’s some more information on the product itself, it’s suppose to help lift your skin, brighten it and whiten it as well. And I did in fact notice I did look more radiant after using the cream! Probably because of the oils in the cream hydrating my face and making my skin happy.

Better yet the cream contains 25 natural ingredients (scroll down for the list), and it contains no; Parabens, Synthetic colors & fragrance, PEGs, Mineral Oils, Propylene Glycol, Cilicones, EDTA, and Cinnamate. (Basically, they know what they’re doing for your skin.)

The cream was meant for winter skin, and it was meant to make your face feel happy. It truly is a luxurious product.

I’m rating this a 10/10 on the doirs scale of happiness. It what a cream is suppose to do and more. I love it.

It’s so beautiful…The cream that is, but such perfection has a hefty price.

BNTgirl x REAL OH BUBBLE THE HAYAN GT-CLEANSER

Oh! Oh! Oh! Oppa sarang hae! Oh! Oh! Oh bubbles hey!

Today I’ll be reviewing REAL OH BUBBLE THE HAYAN GT-CLEANSER (oh!) and I’m just thinking of SNSD today!

While we’re on the topic of SNSD we think of them as the flawless beauties they are, and like that Oh! Bubble Cleanser helps with just that!

It tightens the pores, whitens the skin and provides a deep cleanse. I’ve been loving this cleanser because it foams up!!!

Super fun, I love bubbles, bubbles, bubbles they remind of me of bubble baths and relaxation. Most importantly….fun.

Basically once it hits the skin or the outside it’ll oxygenate and expand, making a soft foam-y bubbly layer. But that’s not all, the most fun part is that the foam itself is malleable! Meaning you can now have fun while removing your make up! Foam it up and ball it up, shape it up, and power up!

You can do anything with the foam, make yourself a mask of white, and feel like a power ranger. The world is at the palm of your hand. Or at least until you decide you need to remove your make up actually, haha.

But really what’s the most important part of a make up remover? How effective the remover is. On my hand I have Lancome’s Hypnose Drama Mascara, Lancome Color Design Lipstick in All done up and Stilla’s Smudge Stick Waterproof eyeliner!

Step 1. Spread the liquid fun on the surface area.

Step 2. Watch it foam/bubble up!

Step 3. Oh! Mix it around.

Step 4. Enjoy your clean skin!

It effectively removes even waterproof make up.

But personally I actually only prefer the cleanser on a lighter make up day without waterproof mascara as I can let it sit on my face and foam up. After that I use a light hand and just massage my face.

As you can see above I went from a beautiful full face of make up, to a clean face.

Still the best part of the cleanser is that it bubbles, much fun.

I personally didn’t see much of the whitening effect but I did much enjoy the pore tightening. My pores have gotten smaller!

Since it was a decent cleanser and it was a lot of fun to use I’ll rate this a 8/10.

However the only downside it seems is that it’s a bit expensive. You can buy it here at Gmarket for $30USD.

Which is $2 more than my Lancome cleanser (that doesn’t foam), so if you’re interested in a foaming/pore tightening/whitening cleanser look no further than oh! oh! oh…gmarket!

Bntgirl x Amaranth Ultra Hydrating Cream

Sorry for the week long break between two reviews, but I finally had time to edit the video footage I had since it has been crazy snowing in my area. School has been excused, and now I’m back to my blog in my spare time.

Today I’m be review Amaranth’s Ultra Hydrating Cream, it’s described on it’s packaging sort of like what a face primer would do. It says it’ll help instantly retouch, smooth and revitalize your beauty performance (of the face). Sounds a lot like a primer, no?

However I’m Sherlock Doris and I have free time and I decided to find out what it really is.

I found it’s a Cosmetic company owned by Samsung, gasp! No, haha I meant what it does to your face, but in all seriousness it is owned by Samsung.

I’ve tested it two ways, before foundation (or bb cream) or together, mixed.

In between I wanted to show how I looked with just regular BB Cream on. I’ll be using Lancome’s BB cream and also Photogenic Luminesse.

To be honest it doesn’t feel like any of the primers I’ve ever used but it feels oddly similar to my starfish creams, the consistency is about the same and it feels like it instantly hydrates my face after application. In fact it’s eerily similar to the Sorabee Starfish cream I previously reviewed here.

DUN DUN DUN Sherlock Doris discovered they are managed under the same company! It’s a whole new roller coaster!

It gives off the similar floral-ish scent but I much more prefer the Ultra Hydrating Cream!

Anyways into the more important information. I’ll now show you the differences between the different ways of putting it on.

First, using it as a primer, I’ll put it on before foundation. You’ll see it mattefies my face and almost makes me a bit whiter, sort of like Missha’s MM Bloomer.

STAY ALL DAY MATTEFYING!

Next is just foundation so you can see how it is regularly.

Now to quickly compare the both side by side.

As you can see I look much more dewy with just foundation, what you can’t see is that I felt much less hydrated with foundation, I had a few flaky spots on my forehead.

So what I really want was a compromise, I wanted dewy skin that was moisturized and that helped my complexion.

Tada, I read that you didn’t just need to just use it as a base but as combination. You just mixed a equal parts of each with a brush before application. This gave me my favorite complexion! Dewy and happy skin!

Fantastic, radiant glowing skin.

Now to compare all three.

Yep, so that’s how I like it! Mixed together in application! It creates a nice hue for winter perfect skin! BYE BYE SKIN FLAKES!

I’m giving this a 8.5/10, it’s a fantastic face primer moisturizer and together it does some voodoo magic on my face!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette Swatched and More!

So here are all three together. As my video said, luminous flush was more of a rosy pink shade, while incandescent electra was more of a true pink glow. Review: MIGABEE Peppermint Pureberry Oil Soap

I love peppermint, it reminds me of good Canadian winters growing up. Hot chocolate? Put some peppermint in that. Mentos? Already is super pepperminty. Coca-Cola? Don’t put Mentos in that.

Peppermint is love, peppermint is life. And Christmas smells.

All that said, I was really excited to try Migabee’s Peppermint Pureberry Oil Soap. Because nothing is more refreshing and not made more awesome than peppermint.

The product is a really catch all product, as it’s advertised to be a make up remover, shampoo and body wash. I’m ready to smell like peppermint head to toe. Mama needs.

So all you had to do is add some water and it immediately foams/lathers up.

It works marvelously and it smells like peppermint!

I also tried it as body wash, and now my body will smell like peppermint for weeks to come. I love this 3-in-1 product. It does everything however I won’t be giving up my shampoo for Migabee’s catch all because my hair has been colored it needs special shampoo.

As a tester to see if it removes the toughest make up I put on;

Urban Decay’s Glide on Cheek Tint
Stila’s Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
The Face Shop’s My lips Eat Cherry lip tint.

And to my surprise it removed it all!

I find this product to be one of my favorites in the box, as it smells like peppermint and I can use it to do basically everything to do with washing.

It’s the perfect product for a 50% lazy girl like me to use sometimes on the hardest days, when I’m lazy.

Review: Faith in Face Truly Waterly Cleansing Water

Hello everyone! I’m back again after my 1 month-ish hiatus, I’ve been traveling ( west coast, So Cal to be specific yayay!) Look forward to a brief video on my travels and snipbits of what my cali life was like in future posts.

But for now that I’m back and here to review one of the more awesome-er products that I got in my new BNTbeauty box!

I’ll be reviewing Truly Waterly Cleansing Water by Faith in Face a Korean company that was established in 2009 and focuses on more natural beauty. A brand better known for their amazing facial masks!

Their pink and retro packaging immediately caught my eye because of their similarity to the UK brand, Soap and Glory. But what really impressed me wasn’t their cute packaging but the actual product itself.

It’s a toner AND a make up remover that claimed to even remove waterproof make up. As a lazy girl 50% of the time I love the idea of the 2-in-1 product and I was ready to put it to the test.

In the photos I’m wearing:

Stila’s – Stay All Day Waterproof liquid Eyeliner (personal favorite for all day stay with zero smudging)
The Balm’s – Nudetude palette for a soft brown smokey eye
Benefit’s – They’re Real! Mascara
Laura Mercier’s – Caviar Stick in Seashell

So for my test I’m wearing a pretty solid everyday eye look featuring one of the best if not the best waterproof, smudge-proof eyeliners I’ve ever used. Let the testing begin.

Needless to really say, I’m very VERY impressed with this product. SO PLEASED.

The 2-in-1 product removed all my eye make up without smudging, irritation, and without any effort. I’m a convert.

It has a light scent, very faint and is as the bottle says, watery. Perfect refreshing non-greasy after feel.

I used to regularly use Lancome’s Bi-Facil Eye Make Up Remover (4.2oz, $28) because I couldn’t use anything else to get rid of all my more stubborn make up but now Faith in Face’s Truly Waterly Cleansing Water has completely changed my daily cleansing routine.

It has made my routine faster (yay, 2-in-1 products!), and as a bonus, cheaper. Which is nice.

I’m giving this product a 10/10 on the Doris scale.

I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone looking for a new cleanser.

YSL – baby doll KISS & BLUSH in Orange Fougueux (04)

Alo alo bonjour guys.Welcome back, I’ve been on a bit of a break, LIKE A THIRTEEN DAY BREAK SINCE MY LAST POST OMGGGG.

Yeah, I was a bit pooped out after just doing posts every other day so I decided to take a mini breather. Anywhoo I’m back now and soon, I’ll be doing another youtube tutorial, because I got a new camera to play with. GOTTA TEST THIS BABY OUT.

Anyways….

Today I’ll be excitedly reviewing YSL’s baby doll KISS&BLUSH lip/cheek stain. YAY ORANGE SUMMER COLORS and SUPER YAY TWO IN ONE MAKE UP ITEMS.

As you can see it’s a ~~cute~~ super cute orange shade perfect for summer.

It features a doe tipped brush making it easy to apply overall, as the tip is great for outlining/fine details and the fatter part of the brush it perfect for fast applying.

Unlike some cheek and lip products which are only good for one or the other, I can proudly say I love using this on my cheeks too! Although it took 2-3 tries my first time, I got used to applying the “right” amount giving myself a great cheek glow. I’ll do a quick and easy tutorial soon (on blushes in general)!

Oh baby, that moment when you apply just the right amount of blush and on the right area of the cheek. MY CHEEKS LOOK SUPER CONTOURED WITHOUT CONTOURING YEAAAAA!

MY EYELINER IS SO THIN YEAAAAA! Yeah, sorry guys I’m only this excited because you’re the only ones who will see this, I didn’t go out that day when my make up was almost perfect.

PROS:

beautiful color
easy to apply
smells good (peachy scent)

CONS:

does not last all day (bummers, but I keep it in my bag!)
really easy to apply too much to the cheeks (I suggest using natural lighting, DONT PUT THIS ON IN A DARK ROOM)
it’s $40 (but if it makes you feel better it’s a LIP and CHEEK product! *chants * 2-in-1!)

Overall I’d give this product a 9.5/10. I really wanted a orange lip/cheek color this summer and this satisfies me so much. SO MUCH. I’m going to buy a few more shades.

Review – Leaders Vita Bright Skin Renewal Mask

Hello again guys! I’m back and I’m reviewing the best for last. My favorite mask I got out of the bunch from BntNews as a BNTgirl. I got four masks by Leaders and this by far was my favorite. Simply because it smelled great and still delivered the same quality of mask that I wanted. It promised to brighten the skin and even skin tone. Bonus: it smells like peaches and awesomeness. I’m basically a peach fanatic anything peach and I’ll basically love it. It gave me dewy skin that made my outing with my friends in Toronto picture perfect because my skin looked radiant all day. Tl;dr 10/10 I will be repurchasing this. I love this.
