BNTgirl x iSOi Bulgarian Rose Intensive Energizing Cream

Word to the oil based creams.

Ce soir (tonight) I’ll be reviewing iSOi’s Bulgarian Rose Intensive Energizing Cream. Previously, on last night’s episode of doirs….I reviewed from the same brand and loved it’s serum and toner. (☞゚ヮ゚)☞

On the packaging it states that’s a day and night cream, however since it’s a oil based cream I think it’ll be more preferred at night. (We don’t need anyone’s foundation/face to melt off in the middle of the day, haha, wicked witch of the west!).

Now, I’ve used the phrase “oil-based” twice already, but what does that really mean anyways? It means that the cream is meant for dry to combination/normal skin types. So if you’re already oily I’d suggest you stay aware from this cream.

Everyone else listen up! Perk up your ears, I’m about to whisper some hydration secrets. Come closer, a bit closer…a little-woah, too close! ͡ಠ_ಠ

Everyone knows it’s now winter in most of the world (minus those happy Australians) and what makes us shiver even more than the brisk wind is the thought of chapped, broken skin which ails us all during the winter. May it be from the heater constantly running, or the blistering wind hitting our faces at 30mph, we all suffer from dry skin in the winter. However, having dry skin isn’t even the scariest part, what comes from dry skin is force much fearsome, wrinkles. Yes, dry skin is another cause of wrinkles (nononononono!). ⊙﹏⊙

So I’m glad to bring you back to your happy place and say all your worries about chapped skin and wrinkles can be helped with this one product before you sleep. Yay!  ( °٢° )

So I applied it every night for about two weeks after toner/serums and I found that;

1. A little goes a long way (a really heavy heavy cream that spreads like no other).

Sequence 04.Still004

2. Earthy fruity smell

3. It does not break me out! (I have combination skin, yay) (◕‿◕✿)

Now here’s some more information on the product itself, it’s suppose to help lift your skin, brighten it and whiten it as well. And I did in fact notice I did look more radiant after using the cream! Probably because of the oils in the cream hydrating my face and making my skin happy.

Better yet the cream contains 25 natural ingredients (scroll down for the list), and it contains no; Parabens, Synthetic colors & fragrance, PEGs, Mineral Oils, Propylene Glycol, Cilicones, EDTA, and Cinnamate. (Basically, they know what they’re doing for your skin.)

The cream was meant for winter skin, and it was meant to make your face feel happy. It truly is a luxurious product.

I’m rating this a 10/10 on the doirs scale of happiness. It what a cream is suppose to do and more. I love it.

It’s so beautiful…The cream that is, but such perfection has a hefty price.

(●´⌓`●)

On it’s site the MSRP is $90USD however on amazon it’s $99 here. So if you can believe, splurge a little, if you can’t you can always check out my other face cream reviews.

This product was given to me to review as a BNTgirl but has a 100% my thoughts in it. (◕w◕ア

Final Review for this box: iSOi’s Bulgarian Rose Pore Tightening Tonic Essence

I’m feeling a tinge of sadness as this is my last item from my most recent BNTnews beautybox, but I’m pretty excited to tell you guys about it.

Plus I get to go back to all my beauty reviews coming soon, look forward to a blush tutorial and fall look soon!

Anyways, today I’m reviewing one of my most favorite brands that I’ve received as a BNTgirl, iSOi which stands for “I’m SO intelligent.” I love their Bulgarian Rose based brand, it’s natural and beautiful.  See my past review of their blemish care serum here.

SAMSUNG CSC

I was excited because this was a multi-care product, not only does it reduce the appearance of your pores it also helps control sebum (oil and moisture control) and remove dead skin cells (exfoliation, woo).

The product is a multi-tasker, it’s a toner and an essence. With all this skin care hype nowadays  and multi-product routines required for it, a 2-in-1 product cuts time efficiently.

Using this product is easy, like any regular toner, wet a cotton ball and just wipe evenly across your face.

Ta-da! Finished, your face is left feeling refreshed and moisturized!

It leaves that same rose-y scent on your face that the serum gave me plus and nice cooling sensation as if a weight has been lifted off your face.

Not to mention in comes in the beautiful glass containers that all iSOi products come in. Nice sturdy glass that feels cool against you skin.

Using this product for a week, I think I’ve actually noticed my pores getting smaller than what they were before. So that’s nice, their logo “make your pore skinny” works.

I just love the scent, the feel and of course the container. I’m a fan of nice glass containers. Mason jars what what.

Overall I find this quite a wonderful product, yay more multitasking products, lazy girl skin care 101.

I give this bottle of rose-y love a 9/10 on my scale of awesome.

You can find it here for $34.24, totally worth the money to me.

Review: Bello-Vita Cell Optimizer S-Essence

So you know that feeling when we accidentally spray perfume into your face and you immediately breathe in like an idiot and it’s kind of too much? No? Just me?

Okay well this product is like that, but a less intense. The scent is a much lighter than a perfume, so an eau de toilette type, kind of a refresher scent.

Which isn’t really, bad just milding annoying to begin with, but after that your face is smelling pre-tty good.

Today I’ll be reviewing Bello-Vita’s Cell Optimizer S-Essence.

SAMSUNG CSC

Like the intro stated one of the flaws of this product is that it’s like an eau de toilette, on your face. But that’s one of it’s good points too at the same time, as your face will be smelling great going to sleep.

The essence is suppose to make your face hydrated and leave it feeling supple and silky.

The application itself is easy and you just spray and pat. Catching the spray itself on video shows how strong the spritz is.

bellovita

It’s quite a strong and fine mist. You know it’s high quality when the mist action is so fine. However it’s a bit strong so I recommend you spritzing about 6-8inches away from your face, so the density against your skin is less. Less dense, less force, it’s simple physics?

The Essence itself looks quite luxurious on the outside and even it’s packaging is a beautiful golden shade. Another cool fact is that the bottle itself has a light opacity so you can see through the bottle to check how much you have left.

However, since it’s still summer hydration/moisture on my skin isn’t really a problem so I haven’t been able to notice any changes in my skin after using it for about a week.

But my face does smell nice, so I have that going for me.

Unfortunately it was my least favorite product in my BNTnews beautybox this time, because everything else was so awesome.

I’m giving this a 5/10 on the doris scale. Only because the pumper mechanism is pretty awesome.

Travel Friendly Review: LEADERS MEDIU AC-Free Spot Patch

As you guys know, I went for a mini Vacation to LA, and flying sometimes gives me stress. Stress gives me pimples. With vacation no one wants pimples in their photos.

Alright I do admit eating out everyday while I was there was probably not the best for my skin.

So this product, that came in my beautybox by BNTnews, a day before I left was perfect and travel friendly. Most of the items, as you can see from my reviews, were larger and liquids, not travel friendly at all. So this was perfect to bring and try out while on vacation.

SAMSUNG CSC

Did I mention it fit in my smallest bag? (ft. above in my smallest Kate Spade bag). It’s literally the best size for carrying out just in case problem spots appear. It fit in all my bags, and there was always space for it.

Second best part besides being travel friendly? It worked.

Only bummers is that the patch is recommended to stay on for 8-12 hours, which is a larger part of the day. But since I’ve been mostly using it during the night it doesn’t really matter.

SAMSUNG CSC

The patch contains salicylic acid and teatree oil, whose properties are wildly claimed to help calm and reduce pimples greatly. The patch is recommended for oily/combination skin. Yes it works on my combination skin. Yay.

Third greatest thing about the patch itself? It’s so thin and clear. People can only really notice it if the light reflects off it’s small surface of it they’re really close to your face.

SAMSUNG CSCPretty thin, they’re like clear stickers for your face problems.

Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures of my before and afters because I didn’t think to take any as I was testing out the first few. After that I didn’t have any pimples. I’ve been pimple free for 3 weeks now. So I can’t do a show and tell.

But at $5  here for something similar (same brand different-ish product.) There’s no harm in trying right?

I’d recommend people who have similar skin, blemish free most of the time with one annoying pimple to try it out. Because it looks silly with more than two on, I’ve tried.

I’m giving this problem a 9/10 on the Doris magic scale.

I’ve been liking everything in my BNTnews beautybox so far. Loving this.

My skin care routine plus some tips (◕w◕ア

Alrighty so I’m just going to do a mini post on my skin care routine/ my skin care tips because I’ve been recently doing a lot of skin care posts. I figured I might as well show my readers what I do usually on a every day basis (minus the mask, I do that once a week or before a special occasion SUCH AS A DATE IF I HAD ONE.)

  1. Eyes – Lancome Bi-Facial Eye Make up Remover (everyday when I wear mascara)
  2. Makeup – Biore daily deep pore cleansing wipes (extra bonus: FOR DEM PORES, everyday if I wear make up)
  3. Scrub – MBD Egg White Gommage peeling (2-3 time a week)
  4. Mask – Leaders Aquaringer Skin Clinic Mask (once a week)
  5. Serum – iSOi – Bulgarian Rose Blemish Serum (morning and night)
  6. Cream – BRTC Aqua Rush Cream (morning and night)
  7. Diet – EAT HEALTHY FOR BETTER SKIN (every moment of your life)
  8. SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP (try to get 8, I try for 10 hours in the summer #yolo)

I find that for the easiest removal of the toughest make up i.e eyeliner/mascara is easiest with a dual liquid type eye make up remover (meaning that when it’s undisturbed you’ll see two layers of liquids in the container) it removes eye make up gently and without any harshness. The reason why I don’t just use my make up wipe to do my entire face is because it never gets ALL of my eye make up off and the skin around the eyes are more sensitive.

For scrubs and masks, I wouldn’t say they’re absolutely vital to a skin care routine but you know they’re nice to have on the side. Sort of like fries, fries are always nice to have on the side. JK I NEED FRIES. Scrubs/masks are a added bonus, think “treat yo self” and I think it’s pretty much like a spa day in your own home.

Serums are also a treat yo self skin every day kind of thing. So also nice to have but not really a necessity unless you have a skin care problem which is treated by a serum.

Creams are vital. How vital you may ask, well they’re like how much I need ice cream in the summer. Constant cravings. Creams help me fight against my constant random dry patches and let me go through the day/night knowing my skin is kept moisturized!

Though to be real, I’d put an emphasis on the last two mostly, a healthy diet and sleep can do wonders on your skin. I know personally when I’m back in the student grind I lose my shiny egg white like skin because of a diet of apple crisps + fries and like 3-5 hours of sleep.  But you know if you don’t have good skin, you can always fake it with concealer or take extra care of your skin with eye creams, and creams in general. Heavy usage on conceal if necessary.

When I’m really lazy all I need is some concealer under the egg bags and then some brows and my go to “whatever” look is complete. tl;dr eyemake up remover + cream + sleep + food =  awesome skin everything to me seems like a extra bonus Thanks for reading, see you guys again soon! YSL baby doll kiss + blush first impressions soon! ❤

Review – Leader’s Bio-Medi-curing Wrinkle Dressing Mask

Hello pretty gals/guys, I’m back again, and with another mask review! Last time I reviewed a mask of the same brand/line and this time I’m reviewing their “Wrinkle Dressing” version, which I assumed would help with my fine lines/future wrinkles. On the packaging it says it helps with;

  •  wrinkles
  • dry skin
  • elasticity decline
  • nutrient lack (or therefore lack of?)

DSC_01112DSC_0113So like it’s predecessor it has that same weird smell that I again adjusted to eventually as I put on the mask for 25 minutes. But other than the weird smell I have no real problems with the mask. It’s the same consistent gel like material which makes me believe it’s a higher end mask, and that’s nice. DSC_0116   Ta-da! After 25 minutes I think my face looks more radiant/dewy! So that’s nice, although I don’t see much of a visual difference with the wrinkles/nutrients I do feel that my skin was more moisturized/bouncy (elasticity?!)! Solid 2/4 effects felt.

I really like how the mask makes my skin look so fresh but compared to the one before it, the other one made my skin much more dazzling. So the “wrinkle dressing” mask I give it a 6.8/10.

You can buy it here for $4.49

Review – iSOi Bulgarian Rose Blemish Serum

Hello again guys,

Well that was quick! I’m back again— for another review! I’ll hopefully post a make up tutorial soon!P1160701

Today I’ll be reviewing iSOi’s (I’m SO intelligent) Bulgarian Rose Blemish Serum!

According to the website :

basic

It seems like quite a luxury product at first glance, it has a study clearish pink glass container with a pump no less! And at a retail price of $50 on ebay and other Korean website sellers it seems like quite a higher end serum. But according to it’s website it’s iSOi’s best selling product with over half a million sold! I think that’s quite impressive especially since it’s a bit more costly.

Now how I feel about it, it has a nice pleasant smell (think roses and a bouquet of flowers but softer and more subtle) it has a great cooling sensation on the skin. And I think it actually may work! I’ve been applying it almost every other day for about a month, and especially on my problem areas (such as any pimples or red areas or places with pores). And I’ve been noticing my pimples disappearing more quickly and a more even skin tone (super yay!).

Sequence 03.Still003

I just pump a little bit and spread it evenly on my face, and then a cream afterwards! And that’s basically my night skin routine. Plain and simple.

Now how I feel about it. I actually fairly like this product, but like it enough to spend $50 on it? Ehh, maybe.

I’ll give this product a solid 8/10.

This product was given to me to review as a BNTgirl but has a 100% my thoughts in it ❤
