BNTgirl x STYLENANDA 3CE LONG WEAR EYE CRAYON

Hon hon hon hon hon. Sacre-Bleu! Baguettes? C’est comme je vais retourne en France. France, I’ve returned.

Aujourd’hui (today) I’ll be reviewing STYLENANDA’s 3CE LONG WEAR EYE CRAYON in the shade “Baguette”.

I absolutely love eyeshadow sticks, c’est ma amore. They’re easy to use and completely mess and hassle free. Just put as much as you like on and smudge it out with a finger and you’re ready to go. Or use them as a base color and work off that.

The best part was this formula was completely waterproof. Yeah, baby! No smudging, or creasing or shadows gone awry. Compact and travel friendly, shadow sticks are definitely my friends forever. Honestly I was just tempted to give it a 10/10 review based solely on the fact it was a eyeshadow stick.

But you know, the waterproof and iridescent color made it de creme de la creme (da best).

Now the color itself wasn’t a color I would’ve chosen myself (I’m more of a neutral or pearly colored girl myself) but I work with what I got. Still pretty.

Ohh ahh, multiple colors, one shadow very iridescent.

Eye shadow wise, fantastic. No glittery fall out, and didn’t budge. It made the perfect base to my EOTD (eyeshadow of the day). Superb quality 3CE.

For the crease and to highlight the corners of my eyes I used the Naked 2 palette. The center was simply the eyeshadow stick. And tada, look how pretty it is!

Simple everyday look completed easily with one awesome eyeshadow stick. If this review hasn’t convinced you to buy some, I will buy everything regardless.

3CE has consistently made make up of high quality akin to the higher end spectrum of western brands. I know for sure my Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier eyeshadow sticks have some tough competition for my love against the 3CE eyeshadow stick.

So if you’re in the realm of purchasing a eyeshadow stick for everyday usage, go forth and try the 3CE Long Wear Eyeshadow Stick!

10/10. Obviously.

BNTgirls Review: DAENG GI MEO RI Oriental Special Shampoo

Mmm floral scents, I love them, and I especially love it when my hair smells like flowers. I especially love the scents of shampoos I seem to find in Asia.

Unfortunately the scents I seem to have found in Asia usually don’t work too well with my hair, but not this shampoo!

It makes my hair shine, smell fantastic and radiant. Plus it lathers well.

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been disappointed by a higher end shampoo because of the lack of lather (hint it’s a lot). And for this to lather well, well it’s basically made for me. It smells nice AND it lathers nicely.

I usually wash my hair every other day and with this shampoo I don’t seem to get too head oily or dull hair. Which is frankly amazing since my travels mean different water (mineral content, and beaches) content, which means unhappy hair. But so far my hair looks like just as its suppose to be, shiny and long and full!

I brought along the travel size of the shampoo to take around with me in Europe and it’s the perfect size to carry around in my check in luggage! A super plus is that even the mini travel size has a structured bottle which makes sure it won’t explode in my luggage like other containers have in the past.

The shampoo has been a travel essential, and my friends seem to enjoy the scent as well.

So if you’re looking for a good Asian shampoo that smells of flowers and lathers well, this may be for you! I honestly will continually use this until I run out and then I’ll fly to Asia( or just South Korea) to get some more!

Shiny long hair, don’t care. Hair on fleet?

I’m giving this a solid 9/10 it washes my hair, keeps it fresh, clean and smelling like a bouquet of fresh flowers. PLUS it lathers like a real shampoo! What more can you ask for?

If you want to try a new Asian shampoo, I’d definitely recommend this to you.

8/10.

BNTgirls Review: Stylenanda 3CE CREAMY CHEEK STICK

Yoo-hoo everyone, yodeleh yee hoo!

During this past month I’ve been trying Stylenanda 3CE CREAMY CHEEK STICK from the mountains of Zakopane in Poland, to the hot and dry Madrid (Spain). I’ve been traveling a lot, and it’s safe to say I’ve tested this product thoroughly.

This product works on temperature extremes and is basically sweat proof.

I went on 6 hour trek up the mountains, the blush endured; sweat, cold temperatures and overall mountaineering. This was at 4C at the top of the mountains.

Few days later I was in Madrid, during a heat wave (40C) and the same blush stayed the same.

photo_2015-07-12_17-14-25

I had friends ask me constantly if I was flushed from the mountaineering or from the crazy heat. Either temperature extremes left my face blush-ful.

So what you basically read is that it’s extremely waterproof from sweat from activities or just from the blistering heat. It’s fantastic.

It applies easily too! Just apply two streaks across each cheek bone and blend it out with your fingers and then it’s done! All day blush, in a minute. Lazy girl in me loves this, especially since I’m traveling around Europe and I have to travel make up light.

photo_2015-07-12_17-14-13 photo_2015-07-12_17-14-10

The make up applies like a cream but has a nice natural-esque powder finish. Sort of brings a glow to your face.
After a long 10 hour day, it’s still visible!

photo_2015-07-12_17-14-04

A solid summer blush that’s easy to use! 8/10.

FORENCOS’ GREEK Mythology MASK SERIES Part 1

For anyone wondering I’m currently in Poland, more specifically Sopot.

It’s part of a tri-city network of 3 close cities together. It’s near the beach, there’s water on the beach, bugs love water…and my face.

Although I did my best to prevent skincare sadness from the plane, there was really nothing I could do to prevent bugs (mostly stupid mosquitoes) from attacking my face. Blegh.

So basically I was in (and still am a little bit) skin care hell. There’s really nothing I could do than rub on some ointment to help stop the itchyness. But the redness seemed to be a constant.

Till I tried these masks!

Today I’ll be reviewing 2 of the 7 masks in the FORENCOS GREEK Mythology MASK SERIES, and I’ll be writing a more further in dept review of my favorites shortly.

Looking so fancy blue nail, you go girl.

Okay real talk, there are basically 7 different masks one for each day of the week.

For the first mask I decided to use the tea tree oil one, because my face was dying and I needed a miracle.

Tea tree oil is suppose to help with acne and I suppose redness all together. So I figured this one would be best for my ailment.

Thursday: relax with Dryas (Tea tree oil mask)

photo_2015-06-09_15-49-45

Check out my sad face. Especially my forehead. Take notice of those HUGE bumps from mosquitoes. : (

Anyways, so I figured why not try it.

photo_2015-06-09_15-49-47

It fit like a glove. TO MY FACE. The mask itself was one of the nicer paper silk material used and it had a pattern that made it seem more breathable.

I put it on for a hour, but you may ask, oh what about the ampoule sachet on the side there? I, uh, didn’t want to use it this time because I was lazy.

But moving along, after an hour…I emerged.

photo_2015-06-09_15-49-52

The redness was slapped down by the mask!

The mask was super effective, red bumps took a critical hit!

Yeah basically it’s amazing. Don’t need to read any further really. Or you can, to read on about the volcanic ash mask.

Tuesday: detox with Hephaestus (Volcanic Ash Mask)

photo_2015-06-09_17-32-09

As you can see in the photo the redness is still there, but not as crazy as the day before.

So I decided since the Tea tree oil one was so effective the day before, I’d try another mask from the series to help continue the prevention.

But this time I did use the amouple, it as a mask base so I put it on before the mask itself. It’s really gooey, super gooey, much like a syrup. But it goes onto your face.

But the mask itself was, uh, shocking.

I’ve never experienced a brown mask, but I guess that was expected for a “ash” mask.

photo_2015-06-09_17-32-13

The mask didn’t fit on my face as well after using the ampoule, so maybe you were suppose to wash it off before putting on the mask, I’ll try again soon.

After a hour, I removed the mask, and had to wash my face because the ampoule had dried up quite a bit. So, yeah I believe you should wash off the ampoule before the mask. #sherlock

photo_2015-06-09_17-32-16

The swelling and the redness went down again! But it doesn’t seem to be as effective as the tea tree oil so far.

I’ll be writing more later.

Bises.

Coreana RODIN SHO’s EGFactor Timeless Program Part 1

Brief review time.

For this review, it’ll be a bit shorter than my usual reviews. Only because I’ll have a update later (in a month.)

Today I’ll be partially reviewing Coreana’s RODIN SHO’s EGFactor Timeless Program.

I’ll be writing about the 28 day program, there’s another shorter one, I believe for 7 days, if you want to try it.

It comes as a anti wrinkle program, for the eyes and face overall.

First off let’s talk, real talk, you can already see it’s luxurious. BAM syringes, and capsules.

It’s like playing science, but with your face.

The syringes are actually eye creams for the under eye bags, the most sensitive part of your face, SENSITIVE TO TIME!

As a anti wrinkle product, it’s in one of the most sanitary containers I’ve seen so far.

As a syringe it makes sure you put on not too much product onto your face and it distributes the same amount every time.

The syringe is plastic, it feels nice against the hand though, and looks nice.

The ampoules are for the face.

They sort of finish up the treatment, by giving your face a overall hydrated feeling all day long, 24 hours.

The texture is nice and light so far and it feels almost like argan oil onto your face.

More thoughts about this product later.

Bises,

Doris

Prestige BN Gel Mask EX

Masks masks masks, they’re like my shots nowadays, but healthier.

Both go onto my face right? Haha.

Today I’ll be reviewing Prestige BN Gel Mask EX. Ohhh so fancy.

The packaging is cute and luxurious looking, especially the ingredients. Bird’s nest and gold combo again. Au au au (chemical symbol, haha.)

The mask is suppose to leave your skin glowing and nourished, it makes your face its baby.

The mask is made as a gel mask and split into two parts, the top half of your face and the bottom half. I suppose this method insures that the user has a better fitted mask so it does it’s job properly.

The mask has one job and that’s to make your face beautiful!

Let’s try the mask.

photo_2015-06-09_14-24-24

Sorry for the potato quality photo, I used my iPhone, which is suppose to be good, but whatever.

As you can see from the photo the mask fit my face really well. It felt nice on and au so luxurious.

Anytime I have a gel mask on my face I feel like it’s much more nicer than a paper mask anyways. Seems like they put more energy into this mask. ENERGIZE MY FACE!

Anyways, I left it on my face for a nice 30 minutes before I went to bed instead of a night cream, and it left my face feeling just as hydrated as a night cream would. But without any greasy residue!

photo_2015-06-09_14-24-29

It was a nice mask that was fairly effective in nourishing my face as it’s baby. I’d likely use their services again to help me with my face.

I’d rate this as a solid 8/10 mask. It does what I want it to do and felt nice.

You can get it here for $23.

Too cool for school EGG MOUSSE PACK & SOAP SPECIAL DUO

Aerosol cans, so hot right now. Amiright?

Late spring/early summers make people lazy and since I’m a lazy person this was great for me. SPRAY EVERYTHING! Everything is easier in a sprayable form.

I’ll be reviewing another Too Cool For School item, this time a mask and soap cleanser duo!

Double the lazy for me, you get both a cleaner and healthier face FROM A CAN!

Like usual, Too Cool For School (obviously too cool for me) provides the cutest packaging.

Everything looks like they’re made to be gifts (to yourself, of course) and the cute yellow string just brings it all together.

Moving onto the important bits though, I use the cleanser (soap) and then use the mousse afterwards.

By the way I completely enjoyed using this product, I love love love super love whipped cream from a aerosol can, and this product just just a continuous reminder of it.

The soap can be used as a cleanser or even as a shaving cream apparently (I’ll try maybe later. Also check out how I pumped out wayyyyy too much into my palm.)

The foam from the cleanser is much thicker and heavier than the mousse (which sounds light anyways), akin to a heavy whipped cream. I’ll be comparing everything in this review to a cream. CREAMY!

As a cleanser I’d say it removed my light make up fairly well. I don’t think it can remove stronger make up such as, waterproof mascara or lipstick. But as a everyday thing it does everything and more in a can!

So let’s say you start off the day lazy, bb cream and eyebrows, you can then finish the day lazy with a can! It’s fantastic, the summer heat makes me extremely lazy.

I’m off from university in the summer, and I don’t see my classmates as often, prompting me to be less likely to put on a full face of make up. Ergo, lazier Doris make up!

You can see how much noticeably thicker and harder it is to spread across my face, since it’s a thicker cream. It was almost icing (yummy) thick. Oh my god, I’m getting hungry writing this.

After setting it for a little bit, I washed it off. Feeling refreshed, nothing than cleaning your make up at the end of the day.

Just kidding, a mask at the end of the day is even better.

For the Egg Mousse Pack I used it as a light mask and after spreading it evenly on my face I left it on for 10 minutes.

For the consistency, I’d say the name is quite on point, it’s like a light mousse, or a nice fluffy whipped cream. Nice and fluffy cream.

The mask is suppose to use it’s eggy properties for good, on your face. Brightening and nourishing your face in fluffy and easily accessible can form.

Unlike the soap it spread on the face quite nicely, easily, and evenly. No rough patched here.

During the 10 minute wait before I rinsed it off, the foam quickly turned into bubbles disappearing into the sea foam it was made from.

Looking moisturized.

As a duo product I’d say it was quite easy and fun to use. If you’re looking for a easy summer product to use, I’d say why not.

Packaging is cute and it does what it does. Not bad.

I’d give this a 8/10.

[3CE] 3 Concept Eyes WATER WRAPPING FACIAL MASK

Phew, long time no see guys.

Sorry, I’ve been traveling a bit, and for this post I want to feature the face mask that made my 3 day journey to Europe MUCH better!

Prepare for a face mask worth the hassle of bringing onto your carry on luggage.

Ladies and Gentlemen, sit back and relax. We’re cruising.

Stylenanda 3CE WATER WRAPPING FACIAL MASK.

Traveling is almost never a delight unless you have the money to fly First/Business Class. But you know we make do with what we have.

Who else hates long airplanes rides, and cannot sleep on planes? Me.

I had a two flights to get to Poland, the first flight was from JFK (New York) -> SVO (Moscow, Russia) which was 9 hours long.

Plane rides are infamous for their stale, drying air and that can wreck  havoc on your face up before a vacation. So I was prepared. I brought 6 different face masks to use on the planes.

It was devastatingly long, especially since I didn’t sleep much the night before (3 hours) and I couldn’t sleep at all on the plane. Damn you internal clock telling me it’s daylight.

But the mask was God sent.

Prepare for shameless mask wearing on planes.

photo_2015-06-08_13-50-03

I put the mask on and it was like bringing the Alps to my face. My skin tingled with a cooling sensation and felt like it was finally breathing for the first time in 6 hours.

I wish I was joking, it was amazing. It was as if clean, fresh mountain air was bought to me 9000FT in the air.

I’ve never experienced anything like it before, but maybe I haven’t tried enough face masks on airplanes, but I know for sure if you have a flight in the future, you should buy this mask. Right now. It was amazing.

But wait there’s more! The mask not only made my face feel extremely refreshed, it knocked me out cold.

The combination the feeling of my skin being able to breathe and the nice cool tingling sensation was just what I needed to rock me into slumber. One moment I was watching Agent Carter and the next I was out like a light.

I was out cold for 30 minutes. The nap re-energized, and I emerged from my slumber a changed woman, I was Snow White. I felt pretty, rejuvenated and just overall wonderful.

Of course it also rehydrated my face better than a splash of water. It was a snow melting into my face.

IMG_4584

I know I know, sometimes people write things that may sound too good to be true. But I sincerely promise you won’t regret this if you try this.

Bring the refreshing mountain air with you 9,000ft in the air.

First class is a state of mind anyways.

I’m giving this a 11/10. The perfect product to me honestly, I’m about to buy a tonne (a literal tonne) and hoard them forever and ever.

You can buy it here on Stylenanda’s website here.

BNTgirl x Too Cool for School Art Class by Rodin

Ohhhhh spring’s here and summer’s around the corner, what does that mean?! Contouring/bronzer forever!

Looking for the perfect summer glow/chiseled face can be difficult, I know, and today I’ll be reviewing a Korean Contouring product – Art Class by Rodin by Too Cool For School.

SAMSUNG CSC

Like always, I have to mention their super cute packaging, they obviously know how to perfect detailing, and it shows in their product.

SAMSUNG CSC

Now I’ve previously tried and disliked Benefit Hoola, and I currently use NARS Paloma on the daily, just for some background in what I’ve fiddled with. Both super popular contouring kits, and now the TCFS Art Class by Rodin is popular as well, I’ve seen SSIN use it a lot on her youtube channel.

Unlike western faces, I need contouring, or else my cheekbones and nose would be lost to the roundness of my egg shaped face. So I’m quite invested in finding the perfect contouring palette.

Most important thing about contouring is the naturalness, you don’t want to seem really fakely chiseled, or orange. So I was really excited to see that the TCFS kit was a more light contouring kit, so you could build the color up rather than mess up one time and be done with it.

SAMSUNG CSC

Compared to my NARS kit,  like I said above, it was less pigmented, but still worked well. It looked very natural.

To use the product itself, you can use the darkest color to fill in the hollows of your cheek, then the middle color to blend out. But personally I just swirl my blush/contour brush in the pan and use the three colors together to shade my face.

How do I contour you might ask? Well I’ll upload a brief video later (ft. both my NARS paloma kit and the TCFS Art Class by Rodin), I usually start by finding the hollows of my cheeks and then creating a 3 figure shape on my face afterwards.

Before:

SAMSUNG CSC

After:

SAMSUNG CSC

Overall I find the TCFS Art Class by Rodin to be a fine contouring kit especially for asian skin tones like myself. I didn’t find the color too bronzing/orange/fake tan ish and was extremely natural. No make up make up, amiright? You want to look flawless without too much effort. I only really used 3-5 products in this look and it was mostly by Too Cool for School.

SAMSUNG CSC

I would recommend this as a beginner contouring tool as it’s easy to build up in color naturally without looking fake, so it’s cute and easy to use.

I’d rate this a solid 8/10. Easy and practical to use.

As a beginner product I find it a nice product to use and if you’re interested you can buy it herefor $20.

BNTgirl x KONAD Classic Jeans Nail Polish

Bonjour tout le monde! (Hello everyone!)

I’m back again with another Konad product, today I’ll be reviewing their Classic Jeans Nail Polish in shades Midnight Blue Jeans and Turkey Blue Jeans(yum turkeys, I want a sandwich now).

SAMSUNG CSC

I was excited about the two colors that I got because my favorite color is actually blue, so I was pretty excited about two blue shades. A sexy dark blue and a more spring-y blue shade. Wow very hip, much trendy.

It’s funny because I’m very a very anti-pants person, most of my closet are yoga leggings and dresses. But I found this to be a fun nail polish regardless.

When I first saw them I was pretty confused because they were described as a jean like nail product but on the outside it looked glittery. I found out later it dries out in a cool matte and textured polish. Quite a fun transformation.

SAMSUNG CSC

To my surprise the nail polish themselves are quite opaque, and only needed one coat for a full polish look, so it was a really easy DIY. Bonus –  they look good.

Note to all people applying nail polish on top of wood surfaces; use a paper inbetween, nail polish remover will ruin the veneer of the wood.

SAMSUNG CSC

On my hand I have midnight blue on all fingers except my ring finger for which I used the turkey blue as a accent color.

SAMSUNG CSC SAMSUNG CSC

It’s easy to apply, it lasts quite a long while, and it looks cool.

So if you’re looking for a trendy easy nail polish (and you’re sick of OPI/Essie) free feel to try a Korean Nail polish brand – Konad!
